We must look at the future and build bridges; we must continue fighting against prejudices, stereotypes and racial hatred and to respect diversities. That is why we joined this initiative for intercultural dialogue, Minister of Foreign Affairs Antonio Milososki said at the first Alliance of Civilizations South East European Conference in Sarajevo.

Foreign ministers and high-level representatives of BiH, Albania, Croatia, Bulgaria, Hungary, Macedonia, Austria, Greece, Montenegro, Serbia, Romania, Slovenia adopted a regional strategy covering documents that bind SEE countries on activities related to media, youths, education and migrations, MIA reports from Sarajevo.

Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski met Tuesday with a delegation from French bank Societe Generale Group, led by Jean-Louis Mattei, head of sector International Retail Banking.
Vice Premier and Finance Minister Zoran Stavreski, who attended the meeting, said afterwards that Societe Generale Group has managed to obtain a portion of the credit market and double the number of employees following its entry in Macedonia.

Focus on policy of creating new jobs in conditions of crisis is the main objective of seminar "Employment Strategies of Labor Market Active Policies", held in Skopje on December 15-16.

The seminar includes representatives from the EU, Government, social partners, employers and trade unions.

"The current economic situation in Europe and Macedonia results in high unemployment. Therefore, it is important that we focus on the policy of creating jobs", said EU ambassador Erwan Fouere in the welcoming address.
