TURKEY: Signs of Recovery as Exports Soar by 20 pct in February

BULGARIA: Magyar Telekom Sells Bulgaria Telco Orbitel for EUR 5 mln

Hungary’s Magyar Telekom announced Tuesday that it has sold Orbitel, its fully-owned Bulgarian subsidiary, to Bulgarian company Spectrum Net AD for EUR 5 mln.

"Magyar Telekom decided to exit the Bulgarian alternative retail telecommunication business and focus its operations on businesses where it sees more lucrative prospects," MTel said in a statement on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE), cited by portfolio.hu

TURKEY: Turkey, Iran to Triple Trade Volume to USD 30 bn in Two Years

Tehran’s goal is to raise trade volume between Turkey and Iran from USD 10 bn to USD 30 bn within the next two years, while their long-term target is to increase this figure to USD 50 bn, Mohammad Nahavandian, head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Mines (ICCIM) said on Monday, calling on businessmen of both countries to take advantage of the current favorable political environment.
