Turkey’s exports climbed by a robust 20.34 percent in February over the same month of the preceding year to USD 8.23 bn, with exports to European countries approaching their pre-crisis levels, Turkish Exporters Assembly (TİM) data have shown.

Hungary’s Magyar Telekom announced Tuesday that it has sold Orbitel, its fully-owned Bulgarian subsidiary, to Bulgarian company Spectrum Net AD for EUR 5 mln.

"Magyar Telekom decided to exit the Bulgarian alternative retail telecommunication business and focus its operations on businesses where it sees more lucrative prospects," MTel said in a statement on the website of the Budapest Stock Exchange (BSE), cited by portfolio.hu

Tehran’s goal is to raise trade volume between Turkey and Iran from USD 10 bn to USD 30 bn within the next two years, while their long-term target is to increase this figure to USD 50 bn, Mohammad Nahavandian, head of the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries & Mines (ICCIM) said on Monday, calling on businessmen of both countries to take advantage of the current favorable political environment.
